Of Jewish origin yet a close friend of Adolf Hitler, Emil Maurice was the founder of the SA and the Strosstrupp Hitler (originally SS); he was also editor of Mein Kampf in the Landsberg prison. Through the very singular destiny of Emil Maurice, this album describes the poorly known but decisive period from 1919 to 1933, covering: the DAP debut, the Soviets of Munich and the fights of the French soldiers in 1919, the Munich revolution, the Landsberg prison, the history of the Stosstrupp with the list and marital status of all its members, the Geli Raubal case and many other historical details. All of these historical events are documented with the aid of very rare black and white and colour documents and unpublished - or little known - photos, partly from archives on Emil Maurice that we have acquired.
