I really enjoyed this book and I found the stories in it incredibly interesting. It tells you the incredible survival stories that inspired Bear to become what he is today. My favourite story was the one about Aron Ralston, who got stuck in a canyon with his arm crushed behind a boulder for 127 hours. He eventually had to amputate his arm with a bit of Neoprene tubing and the insulator from his CamelBak. Another story is about a man from Seal Team 10, who crawled for miles across Afghanistan under enemy fire. Both of these stories show ultimate endurance in my opinion. I found these tales really gripping and sometimes even shocking and gruesome! I loved the book and now I am reading his autobiography, Mud, Sweat and Tears. I enjoyed this book a lot and I would recommend it for children aged 10+ and would rate it 5/5.
