Not the best -

Whilst its called 'no bake' some of these recipes are just plain silly using shop-bought biscuits and cakes and adding icing and sprinkles. I mean, really!

Not what I'd hoped -

Read the description very carefully - Heston-style recipes should have had me running for the hills! The book uses vast amounts of bought ingredients, some very expensive, to create an array of fiddly, complex and time-consuming recipes.

I wanted a no-nonsense book of easy throw-together cakes, biscuits and weekday puds - this isn't it. The creations are impressive, but it's one to borrow from the library, not to buy.

TBP says: Hi Kate, thanks for your review. We appreciate all customer feedback. We have slightlly amended the copy following your comments.

Yum -

I had a quick look through this when it arrived and my first opinion is that some of the recipes are time-consuming and probably require a degree of expertise and pateince that I don't have. It is beautifully illustrated and laid out. I am going to try the strawberry mousse cake at the weekend.
