Kids love it -

Ok there is no accounting for children's taste but my 10- and 7-year-old love these books and follow along reading the book listening to the audio. Do I like them, well not so much but they are not written for me but they do no harm and anything that gets my boys reading is good in my book. Both not keen on David Walliams either so thumbs up in my books.

Don't bother -

After listening to 30 mins of this my husband and I both agreed we literally couldn't stand to have it on in the car. My 7- and 5-year-old didn't mind it but it is unlistenable(!) E.g. Chapter 6 "Barky the barking dog" is quite literally some sentences like barks saw a fly (lots of dog barking noises). Barry saw a bird (lots of barks) - yes it is supposed to be funny and an example of a terrible to show but that doesn't spare you five minutes of a dog barking inanely. No plot that we could discern so these are being given straight to charity. David Williams /Roald Dahl this is not.

Zanily hilarious -

My 9- and 7-year-old adore these CDs (and the books as well) - we've listened to them over and over in the car. Completely wacky Australian sense of humour which keep the kids giggling for long car journeys so they're a winner as far as I'm concerned.

13-Storey Treehouse Collection -

After listening to all the David Walliams audio CDs on car journeys during the summer holidays we were hooked on listening to stories in the car. We needed more so we decided to order these audio CDs.

After listening for 5 mins, I was left wondering what I was actually listening to. I really did try to like these stories but even my children, aged 10 and 6 were not impressed. They were abandoned after listening to only 15 mins of the first CD and we ordered the Michael Morpurgo set.

We've already listened to War Horse which was absolutely amazing. I would not recommend the 13 Storey Treehouse audio CDs; there are much better options out there!

Sorry but these are awful! -

I don't like leaving bad reviews but these stories are dreadful. Unfunny and just awful. Even my 8-year-old grandson isn't that enamoured with them. I'm afraid after listening to Roald Dahl and David Walliams, these are just not funny.
