The Curry Guy Dan Toombs reveals how to make aromatic curries with hardly any fuss in this essential cookbook. They taste as good as any takeaway!
Including chicken 65, black dahl and lamb keema saag, all of the 100 recipes can be made with little equipment and minimal chopping and mixing.
If you put the time in and make up the fresh garlic/ginger paste, curry powder mix and base sauce (in bulk) this book has some great "easy" recipes which have been really well received by all the family. Must have made six dishes and naan so far and every one a winner.
Misleading title! -
This book has the most misleading title ever as there is nothing easy about it at all! Each recipe has a list of ingredients as long as your arm, so unless you have a dedicated sous chef, I fear the preparation times are a tad optimistic. It might be great if you are an enthusiastic chef dedicated to curries, but otherwise you might just be using the undoubtedly lovely pictures as an aid to ordering a takeaway!
Well received gift. -
I purchased this for my son-in-law as he loves making and eating curries. He was very pleased with it.
