Whiskypedia (Paperback)

Charles MacLean

Charles MacLean has spent the past three decades researching, writing and lecturing about Scotch Whisky and Whiskypedia reveals everything he's learned about why it tastes so good.

He reveals where whisky's flavours come from and how this has changed over the years, as well as an overview of the drink's history, craft and tradition.

Each entry provides a brief account of the distillery's history and curiosities and an exploration of the flavour and character of each whisky it makes.

Great book, but not as advertised. -

Very helpful and informative. Worth 5 stars, however, it is just a shame that the edition received is the older 2014 version, it is not the 2016 version that is shown, neither is it a 2018 version as stated in the product details.

Thanks for the review

We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed Whiskypedia. We have checked a sample in-house and we can confirm that this is the 2018 edition. The inside page references 2014 but the publisher's information before the contents page states that this is a revised edition published in 2018 by Birlinn Ltd.
