Create beautiful avian artworks and enjoy the relaxing practice of watercolour painting with this incredible book.
Featuring the European goldfinch, a hummingbird and a wren, this book is full of beautiful birds for aspiring artists to paint in watercolour.
Emma Faul's stunning artworks have been reproduced as outlines on high-quality watercolour paper and this book also contains advice on getting started and mastering a wide range of techniques.
To get started, simply choose an outline on watercolour paper and pull it out of the book, then follow the artist's step-by-step advice for creating beautiful watercolours and use the gallery of finished artworks as a guide.
The professional paper will also work beautifully with other media, such as acrylic paint, artists' pencils and art brush or marker pens.
Wonderfully illustrated artwork, easy to follow instructions, hours of pleasure.
Love this book, as I am not good at drawing and with this all I have to do is paint. With colourful illustrations and instructions this book is the best.
Not just a colouring book -
I echo the review by Jem, beautiful book, the illustrations are printed in very light outline, nothing to spoil your finished work, good quality art paper. Pleasantly surprised with my purchase, I bought another to put aside for when I've worked my way through the first book.
This is a lovely book with outlines printed on watercolour paper ready to be filled in, and it includes tips and advice for each print. If you like Dana Fox's Colour With Me in the Forest, this is a nice alternative (though fewer pictures and different style of designs). Otherwise there's nothing else really on the market quite like it for colouring enthusiasts that want to learn about mediums other than colouring pencil. That said, this would also work with with aquarelle pencils. Highly recommend.
