Grips you from start to finish! -

Another riveting read from C.L.Taylor. Her books keep getting better and better! This is the most suspenseful thriller I've read for a long time.

The setting on the remote island of Rum off the west coast of Scotland during the mother of all storms is extremely atmospheric. Full of creepy twists that you don't see coming, this kept me guessing until the very end. I kept changing my mind and in the end I suspected the wrong person.

Leaving London behind in order to escape from a devastating fateful night which left her traumatised and unable to sleep, Anna endeavours to rid herself of her guilt and create a new life for herself by relocating to Rum and taking up a position as an hotel receptionist. But someone is stalking her and the nightmare begins, with the trickle of seven guests arriving throughout the day. Each has their own secret to hide and their own reason for being there with the lies and deceit coming thick and fast. One of them is a killer. This disturbing, riveting plot provides a rollercoaster of a read. My eyes kept flying off the page trying to keep up with the words as I couldn't read fast enough to satisfy my mind. Read it well into the night, if you dare.
