The inspiration for two Hollywood films, Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson books offer edge-of-the-seat excitement for children who love adventure stories with a mythical edge.
A troubled child with dyslexia and ADHD, Percy finds himself at a special camp known only as Camp Half-Blood. Soon after, he discovers he is the son of Poseidon and that's when his journey begins. He finds himself on a quest to reach the gates of the the Underworld with a satyr and the daughter of Athena - a far cry from the school outings he is used to...
The complete series, Percy and his friends Annabeth, Grover and Luke find themselves on the hunt for the Golden Fleece; on a mission to rescue some half-bloods; learning about the Labyrinth; and attempting to defeat the evil Kronos.
My son really like these books that were given to him as Christmas gift. He's nearly finished the book.
The whole family is gripped by this series -
We got the first Percy Jackson book for our 7-year-old. We read it to the 7- and 5-year-old as a bedtime story and we are now all completely hooked on the series! They're exciting, action packed and at times a little bit scary. Me and my husband have to try and stop ourselves reading ahead when the kids have gone to sleep. Definitely recommend.
Percy Jackson -
Great value, great service and customer care very helpful, my son loves these books, cannot put them down once he's started.
Percy Jackson Collection -
I am currently reading the final book in this collection to my sons aged 9 and 8. We are all hooked and they have been getting ready for bed early, just to be sure we can fit in two chapters! Very entertaining and full of adventure. Also as an added bonus their knowledge of Greek Mythology is getting quite impressive. Definitely recommended and suitable for boys and girls as some very good strong female characters, too.
